Spire Motorsports is paying tribute to the late Kyle Busch in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series’ return trip to Charlotte Motor Speedway next weekend, running a pair of throwback schemes to honor Busch’s impact in the series, though his team, Kyle Busch Motorsports.

The multi-truck NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series operation, whose presence in the series was kickstarted by the purchase of Kyle Busch Motorsports at the end of 2023, revealed two special throwback paint schemes on Friday that highlight two important moments in the history of the series’ winningest team.

Kyle Busch, a two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion, also raced with Spire Motorsports after it purchased Kyle Busch Motorsports, and even picked up his last NASCAR National Series victory with the team in May at Dover Motor Speedway, just six days before his untimely passing.

Connor Mosack will pilot the black-and-red No. 7 PurePex Chevrolet Silverado RST at Charlotte Motor Speedway, with a paint scheme specially designed to replicate the No. 51 Zariz Transport Chevrolet that Busch took to Victory Lane at Pocono in 2023 – winning the 100th NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series event for Kyle Busch Motorsports.

To this day, Kyle Busch Motorsports is the only team to reach the century landmark in Truck Series victories, and thus, remains the winningest team in series history, just like Busch himself was the winningest driver in Truck Series history with 69 wins.

Rajah Caruth will get behind the wheel of the bright yellow No. 77 Chevrolet / Firstline Chevrolet Silverado RST at Charlotte Motor Speedway, in a paint scheme celebrating the first-ever victory for Kyle Busch Motorsports as an organization at Nashville Superspeedway in April 2010. At that time, Busch was driving the No. 18 Dollar General Toyota Tundra.

Next weekend’s event at Charlotte Motor Speedway marks a return to the home base of NASCAR’s National Series and many of its teams, for the first time since Memorial Day Weekend, when the entire industry was in shock and mourning over the devastating loss of one of NASCAR’s most prominent drivers, Kyle Busch.

With Mosack and Caruth behind the wheel, Spire Motorsports will look to put a smile on the face of fans everywhere, by returning a piece of Kyle Busch to Victory Lane at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
