NASCAR Cup Series winner Daniel Suarez and his wife, Julia Piquet, have welcomed their first child the world, a boy with the name Otto Suarez Piquet, the couple announced via social media on Tuesday, September 22.
The couple, who were married in July 2024, announced earlier this year, in April, that they were expecting their first child together. Julia is the daughter of three-time Formula One World Driver’s Champion, Nelson Piquet.
Suarez currently competes full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series, piloting the No. 7 Chevrolet Camaro for Spire Motorsports, with whom, earlier this season, he went to Victory Lane in the prestigious Coca-Cola 600.
The Monterrey, Mexico-native is currently a part of the Chase for the NASCAR Cup Series Championship, where after three of the 10 races in the post-season, he currently sits 16th in series point standings, 134 markers behind leader Kyle Larson.
