The Logano family is officially a family of seven.

Three-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Joey Logano, and his wife Brittany, announced on Thursday that they have officially completed the process of adopting their two foster kids, welcoming them into the expanding Logano family.

Logano captioned a video post on Instagram with “It’s Official! Proverbs 3:5-6 – Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”

That video included multiple snippets of the adoption ceremony.

“After many days of limbo and uncertainty, today is day one of forever,” said Brittany Logano. “For your Dad and I, day one of forever was a while ago, we both knew that you were our babies almost immediately after meeting you.”

“Basically, all of this is just God’s blessing, basically love him and let him take the steering wheel,” said Joey Logano. “Sometimes you want to control our lives and control everything we can, but in this case, we let go, and he guided us to the right place, for sure, with you guys.”

In May, Logano, who pilots the No. 22 Ford Mustang Dark Horse for Team Penske, confirmed that he and his wife had taken on two foster kids.

“We talked about it for years and talked yourself out of it for many… being busy and can we really handle all of that,” Logano said in May. “Eventually, you know what, you just felt like we kept getting called back to it.”

“You gotta have a badass wife. That’s a big piece of it,” Logano said about his wife, Brittany. “My wife is a total rockstar who can handle a lot.” “Is it harder? Yeah. Is it worth it? Absolutely. I’d do it again 100 more times.”

The couple is adding to a busy household, adding two adopted children (names and ages not revealed) to their three biological children: Hudson, born in 2018; Jameson, born in 2020; and Emilia, born in 2022.
