2026 ARCA Menards Series champion Thomas Annunziata will return to the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series this weekend for an additional one-off race at Talladega Superspeedway, piloting the No. 5 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro.
Eat Clean Bro, a meal prep delivery service that has been a long-time supporter of Annunziata, will be on board the No. 5 for Friday’s event in Talladega, Alabama – the third career NASCAR Truck Series start for the Colts Neck, New Jersey-native.
With limited experience in the Truck Series, Annunziata will rely on his superspeedway experience from the ARCA Menards Series to run Friday’s event – the first of his Truck Series starts coming on an oval (or a track other than Lime Rock Park). The 21-year-old driver also has 18 NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series starts, but never raced on a superspeedway in that series, either.
Friday’s Love’s RV Stops 225 at Talladega marks an extension of the season for Annunziata, after running the complete ARCA Menards Series schedule for Nitro Motorsports. In 20 races, Annunziata managed to collect one win (at Lime Rock), 11 top-fives, and 18 top-10s, bringing home the championship after a battle that went down to the wire with Jake Bollman.
Could this be a glimpse into Annunziata’s plans for 2027? Before the ARCA season finale at Kansas, the driver confirmed he wouldn’t be returning to the ARCA Menards Series full-time next season, instead looking to further his development in a different series.
The Love’s RV Stop 225 will take place Friday, October 23, at 4:00 PM ET on FOX Sports 1.
