With a victory in Friday’s Zero Carbon Bioethanol 150 at Phoenix Raceway, Kaden Honeycutt has extended his points lead over championship rival Layne Riggs, as the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series heads into the final three races of 2026.

Honeycutt, who lost ground in the standings to Riggs last weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway, was able to take the lead from the strategy-playing No. 52 of Stewart Friesen on the final restart of the race and lead every green-flag lap of Stage 3.

The Willow Park, Texas-native was able to keep his composure in the closing laps of the event, as runner-up finisher Christian Eckes was able to close within a second of the lead, but could never make the progress to mount a real challenge.

It’s the 29th NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series victory for TRICON Garage under its rebranded identity (2023-present), all but four of which have been with the No. 11 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro and Scott Zipadelli as shot-caller.

Honeycutt, headed to Talladega Superspeedway, now holds a 39-point lead over Layne Riggs.

Christian Eckes finished runner-up in the No. 91 Chevrolet Silverado RST for McAnally-Hilgemann Racing, his second consecutive runner-up finish in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series, after missing out by one spot to Layne Riggs at Charlotte.

Layne Riggs finished in the third position, with Ty Majeski in fourth. Both Riggs and Majeski looked to have race-winning pace throughout the evening, leading a sector of the event, but were unable to catch Honeycutt in the final stage.

From a 23rd-place starting spot, Jake Garcia rounded out the top-five.

William Sawalich came home in sixth, with Daniel Hemric, Gio Ruggiero, Grant Enfinger, and Brent Crews rounding out the top-10. Tyler Ankrum (13th), Chandler Smith (15th), and Ben Rhodes (21st) were the three Chase drivers that finished worse than 10th.

Heading to Talladega Superspeedway, it looks like it’ll be a two-man battle for the championship, with Kaden Honeycutt leading Layne Riggs by 39 points. Christian Eckes sits third in the points standings, 112 markers behind the driver of the No. 11.

The NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series heads to Talladega Superspeedway next weekend for the Love’s RV Stops 225. Coverage will air Friday, October 23 at 4:00 PM ET on FOX Sports 1.
