Will Rodgers is returning to the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series for a three-race agreement to complete the 2026 campaign, the driver confirmed via social media on Tuesday.
Rodgers will be joining forces with Big Machine Racing for events at Phoenix Raceway, Talladega Superspeedway, and Homestead-Miami Speedway, piloting the No. 53 Chevrolet Camaro (which, for owner’s points purposes, will be listed under Joey Gase Motorsports with Scott Osteen).
“I’m very excited to announce that I’m joining Big Machine Racing for three races this year,” Rodgers said in a social media video. “We’ll be running Phoenix, Talladega, and Miami, and we’ll be debuting our new campaign, Driving Good Health with Boehringer Ingelheim. I’m very excited to get this going, our campaign is all about raising awareness for liver disease and providing access for both communities that we engage with.”
Rodgers has been active in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series since 2019, making 12 career starts prior to this weekend’s event at Phoenix Raceway, with a best finish of 12th at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in 2019, driving for Brandonbilt Motorsports.
Earlier this season, Rodgers made a pair of starts in the series for Young’s Motorsports at Watkins Glen International and Sonoma Raceway, collecting finishes of 20th and 17th.
“For me, as a childhood liver disease survivor, I know what it means to have a second chance, and for people to take their health seriously,” Rodgers added. “Our campaign Driving Good Health is more than just about racing; it’s about taking control of your health.”
Rodgers will drive the No. 53 at Phoenix (October 17), Talladega (October 24), and Homestead-Miami (November 7).
