Kasey Kleyn, who has run select NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series for Rackley WAR and will compete for Halmar Friesen Racing at Martinsville, has joined Nitro Motorsports to compete in the ARCA Menards Series West event at Phoenix.
Kleyn will also run part-time with Nitro Motorsports in 2027.
“I’m excited to join Nitro Motorsports, both for Phoenix and for next season,” said Kleyn in the press release. “The Nitro Motorsports team has a great reputation for developing drivers, and getting the chance to run superspeedways and intermediates like Daytona, Talladega, and Kansas is a big step for me. I can’t wait to get to work.”
Kleyn will run the No. 20 Toyota Camry in Friday’s Desert Diamond Casino West Valley 100 at Phoenix, where he will make his second career start in the series. His first start came with Naake-Klauer Motorsports in 2024 at Tri-City Raceway, where he finished sixth.
Alongside Daytona, Talladega, and Kansas, Kleyn is also scheduled to compete at Michigan and Chicagoland for the Nitro Motorsports group in 2027.
“Kasey has put together an impressive résumé with solid results, and he’s done it everywhere he’s raced,” said Nick Tucker, Nitro Motorsports Co-Team Owner. “Phoenix is a great opportunity for us to get to work together, and we’re excited to build on that with a strong 2027 ARCA program at some of the biggest tracks and events on the schedule.”
The ARCA Menards Series West race at Phoenix Raceway is scheduled for Saturday, October 17, for the running of the Desert Diamond Casino West Valley 100.
