Alpha Prime Racing (APR) announced Tuesday that the organization will launch an ARCA Menards Series program in 2027, utilizing the Ford Mustang and expanding the team’s long-term competition and development strategy.
“We have been deliberate about building the next phase of Alpha Prime Racing in a way that is competitive and sustainable,” said Jusan Hamilton, President of Alpha Prime Racing. “ARCA gives us another meaningful platform to develop people, serve partners, and create a clearer pathway within our organization. It is a natural extension of the direction we have established, and we are excited to build it the right way.”
The team’s ARCA Menards Series program will complement Alpha Prime Racing’s multi-car NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series program, while also providing another platform to develop drivers and team personnel, create opportunities for commercial partners, and build additional capability throughout the organization.
Caesar Bacarella, owner of Alpha Prime Racing, believes the addition of an ARCA Menards Series program reflects the team’s continued investment in its future.
“We want Alpha Prime Racing to keep growing,” said Bacarella. “Adding ARCA keeps us building and gives us new ways to grow and re-invest into the team. We know this is going to be a great series for us.”
In a press release distributed Tuesday, Alpha Prime Racing says its driver lineup, partners, competition schedule, technical suppliers, and team personnel will be announced separately as plans are finalized.
“Development has always been a part of who we are,” said Tommy Joe Martins, Founder of Alpha Prime Racing. “And that’s drivers, mechanics, engineers, or administration – we like giving new people a chance. And ARCA, for us, will be the place where they can learn, compete and prove they are ready for the next opportunity. It’s a refocusing on Alpha Prime’s future.”
Additional details on the team’s ARCA program will come at a later date.
