Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) confirmed Thursday that Brandon Jones has signed a contract extension with the organization to continue piloting the No. 20 Menards Toyota GR Supra in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series through the 2027 season. Next season will mark the 12th full-time campaign in the series for Jones, and his eighth with the championship-winning organization.
The 29-year-old driver has seen a resurgence in his performance since returning to Joe Gibbs Racing in 2025, picking up three victories, 13 finishes inside the top five, and 26 top-10s. In 2025, Jones finished a career-best fifth in NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series points.
“(Joe Gibbs Racing) is home to me. We’ve built a great relationship over the years, and it’s exactly where I want to be at this point in my career,” said Jones. “Not only has this been the place where I’ve found most of my success in my career, but I also value the chemistry and relationships we’ve built as a team on the No. 20. I think we’re just scratching the surface of what we’re capable of as a group and I’m excited to keep building with this team in 2027.”
The contract extension also includes Jones’ long-time supporter, Menards, who will continue to work with the Atlanta, Georgia-native in 2027 as a full-season primary sponsor. The company has been with Jones since he first moved into the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series in 2015.

With Jones now secured for next season, Joe Gibbs Racing has its four full-time NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series drivers: William Sawalich, Brent Crews, Brandon Jones, and Taylor Gray – a lineup nearly identical to this season.

Jones will continue working with Sam McAuley in 2027, keeping the duo together for their third consecutive season. In the meantime, the duo will focus on fighting for the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series championship, where the No. 20 is currently seeded in sixth place with one event left to go in the regular-season.
