The start time for Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Dollar Tree 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway has been moved up by one hour, to 2:00 PM ET, due to forecasted inclement weather in the Loudon, New Hampshire area.
NASCAR, New Hampshire Motor Speedway, and USA Network worked together to move the start time of Sunday afternoon’s event forward, in an attempt to give fans the best opportunity to enjoy the full 301-lap race before the forecasted weather reaches the area.
The Dollar Tree 301 was originally scheduled to begin at 3:00 PM ET, but the forecast for Sunday afternoon in New Hampshire calls for inclement weather in the late afternoon to evening hours. The event will still be broadcast live on USA, Performance Racing Network, and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio (Channel 90).
The opening times for the following locations have also been moved up an hour. The parking lot will now open at 7:00 AM ET, ticket booths at 8:30 AM ET, gates at 10:00 AM, and the NASCAR Cup Series garage will open at 11:00 AM.
NASCAR will announce an updated schedule of events in the coming hours.
