In his third consecutive start, it will be Carson Brown, driving the No. 28 Grizzly Coolers Chevrolet SS for Pinnacle Racing Group, who will lead the field to the green flag in Saturday’s Sunbelt Rentals 150 at Flat Rock Speedway.
Brown posted the fastest time of 11.948 seconds (75.326mph) in the single-car qualifying session. It’s the second cosecutive pole for Brown in the ARCA Menards Series East, and his third in the last three ARCA-sanctioned events.
Brown’s Pinnacle Racing Group teammate Tristan McKee posted the second quickest time of 12.113 seconds (74.300mph). McKee is looking to rebound after an early wreck in the last race at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park. East Series points leader Max Reaves finished out the top-three spots.
Defending series champion Isaac Kitzmiller settled for the fourth spot, with Quinn Davis rounding out the top-five positions.
Michigan native Matt Kemp will start from the sixth position, with Jackson McLerran, Blaine Donahue, Jeff MacZink, and Toro Rodríguez completing the top-10 in qualifying.
Rita Goulet (No. 13) and Michael Maples (No. 99) were the only drivers who did not post a lap in the single-car qualifying session.
The Sunbelt Rentals 150 at Flat Rock Speedway will take place on Saturday, August 1, at 7 PM ET on FloRacing, along with their free 24/7 channel on Prime Video, Roku, Fubo, and YouTube.
