Freeway Insurance is continuing its long-standing relationship with Coca-Cola 600 winner Daniel Suarez into the 2027 NASCAR Cup Series campaign, the sponsor announced Sunday at Talladega Superspeedway.
The company will serve as the anchor partner of the No. 7 Freeway Insurance Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 in the NASCAR Cup Series, while also partnering with Spire Motorsports on other endeavours, including a presence in the NASCAR FedEx Freight Truck Series and adding Carson Hocevar as a brand ambassador.
“Our partnership with Spire Motorsports and Daniel Suarez has been instrumental in connecting Freeway Insurance with NASCAR fans and the communities we serve,” said Cesar Sariano, Chief Executive Officer of Freeway Insurance. “We’re excited to build on that success in 2027 by welcoming Carson Hocevar as a brand ambassador and expanding our presence in the NASCAR FedEx Freight Truck Series. These opportunities allow us to reach new audiences, strengthen relationships, and continue growing the Freeway brand.”
While Suárez joined Spire Motorsports at the beginning of this year, the Monterrey, Mexico-native has been a loyal partner to Freeway Insurance for more than six years, dating back to his time with Trackhouse Racing. Recently, the brand also joined NASCAR as a Premier Partner.
“Having Freeway Insurance continue with me at Spire Motorsports means a lot,” said Suárez. “We’ve been together for six years, and I’m proud of the relationship we’ve built. This sport is all about having people who believe in you and want to grow with you, and Freeway has been a big part of my journey. Winning the Coca-Cola 600 this year was big for me, the team, and Freeway Insurance. I’m looking forward to having more moments like that one. The best is ahead.”
Suarez is a veteran of 356 starts in the NASCAR Cup Series and has been to Victory Lane three times, winning at Sonoma in 2022, EchoPark Speedway in 2024, and Charlotte Motor Speedway in 2026. A 10-year veteran of NASCAR’s top-level, Suarez has 27 top-fives, 83 top-10s, and 949 laps led.
“Freeway Insurance and Daniel have been writing a story together for six years, and we’re honored the latest chapter is being written at Spire,” said Spire Motorsports President Bill Anthony. “Winning the Coca-Cola 600 together made it one worth telling. Freeway’s connection didn’t stop with Daniel. They embraced everyone here and also backed our ARCA, Truck, and dirt programs along the way. We don’t take that kind of commitment lightly. We’re grateful to have them back and excited to chase more special moments, while finding more and better ways to showcase the spirit of Freeway and connect them to fans.”
Veteran crew chief Ryan Sparks will continue to lead the No. 7 Chevrolet Camaro in the NASCAR Cup Series as Suarez and Spire Motorsports return to the racetrack in February at Daytona International Speedway for the Wheatly Vodka Clash and the 69th DAYTONA 500.
