After waiting around and hoping that the rain would clear from the Charlotte, North Carolina area on Friday, the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series North Carolina Education Lottery 200 has been postponed.
The 10th event of the 2026 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series campaign (originally scheduled to take place Friday at 7:00 PM) will be moved to Saturday, May 23, at 8:00 AM ET.
As of right now, the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series is still scheduled to begin NASCAR’s Memorial Day Weekend festivities on Saturday morning. The NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series is scheduled to run later that afternoon at 5:00 PM ET.
FOX Sports 1 will continue to have the broadcast for the North Carolina Education Lottery 200. On Friday, drivers boarded their vehicles and drove around the 1.5-mile racetrack for some pace laps, but were brought back down to pit road after sprinkles began to intensify.
NASCAR Radio Network and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio will have radio coverage of the event, as per usual.
Corey Day, driving the No. 7 HendrickCars.com Chevrolet Silverado RST that Kyle Busch was scheduled to compete in before his passing on Thursday, will start from the pole position, with Layne Riggs alongside.
