UPDATE: Judge Roderick Davis has now set the bond at $1,000, secured, per Joe Bruno. Moskowitz had been in Mecklenburg County jail since Thursday night, due to the charge being a violent offense.

Rod Moskowitz, the Chief Executive Officer and Head of Racing at PROSPORT Management, is currently being held on no bond, Joe Bruno of WSOCTV reports, after he was charged with “assault with a deadly weapon of a government official”.

According to an arrest warrant, Moskowitz was arrested and booked on Wednesday, October 21, in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, after allegedly recklessly operating his vehicle and nearly hitting a Huntersville police officer on multiple occasions.

Moskowitz has been a heavy-hitter in the Sports Management industry for nearly three decades, dating back to November 1996. The 52-year-old has spent time at Ascend Sports Management, Motorsports Management International, and now PROSPORT Management.

PROSPORT is one of the most prominent sports agencies in NASCAR, with high-profile drivers and personalities as clients, such as Denny Hamlin, William Byron, Kyle Larson, Chase Elliott, Bubba Wallace, Tyler Reddick, Zane Smith, Corey Heim, Brent Crews, and Jamie McMurray.

The organization also has a number of successful clients in other industries, including Soccer, Golf, Football, and the Media space.

More details, should they become available, will be added to this story.
