Layne Riggs will return to Front Row Motorsports in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series for 2027.

The Bahama, North Carolina-native confirmed on Wednesday, during NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series Chase Media Day, that the two-truck team has picked up his option for next season, and he’ll continue to pilot the No. 34 Ford F-150.

Riggs is the No. 1 Seed in the NASCAR Truck Series Chase, which begins Thursday evening at Bristol Motor Speedway, and has a series-high six wins this year – at St. Petersburg, Charlotte, Nashville, San Diego, IRP, and Loudon – with 10 top-fives and 11 top-10s, and 598 laps led.

Although Riggs says nothing has officially been signed yet, the 24-year-old driver told members of the media he’d like to make his debut in the NASCAR Cup Series next season, with the goal of doing so by the end of next year.

The 2027 NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series campaign, beginning next February at Daytona International Speedway, will mark a fourth full-time campaign for Riggs with Front Row Motorsports in the Truck Series.

In 72 career starts, Riggs has collected 11 wins, 31 top-fives, and 39 top-10s, with more than 1,250 laps led throughout his career. He will likely continue to add to those tallies next season.
