Chad Kendrick, a veteran crew chief in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series, is heading to Bristol Motor Speedway wearing a new team kit, joining Kaulig Racing as the crew chief of the No. 14 RAM 1500 for Mini Tyrell.

NASCAR’s Entry List, released on Monday evening, confirmed the change.

Kendrick has spent several years working as crew chief for Rackley WAR in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series, first serving as shot-caller for the No. 25 Chevrolet Silverado with drivers Timothy Peterson, Matt DiBenedetto, and a host of others from 2021 to 2023, before returning to the organization in 2025 to work with Dawson Sutton on the No. 26.

Willie Allen, co-owner of Rackley WAR, will serve as shot-caller for Sutton this weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Having previously worked with Brad Keselowski Racing, Kendrick is a seven-time race-winning crew chief in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series.

The Mooresville, North Carolina-native has also recently spent time as a crew chief in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, having joined Jordan Anderson Racing for a one-year stint leading the No. 31 Chevrolet Camaro and Parker Retzlaff, during which time the team scored two poles and two top-five results.

Now, for the final seven races of the 2026 NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series campaign, Kendrick will be partnered with Kaulig Racing, RAM, and rookie contender Mini Tyrell, who drives the No. 14 RAM 1500.

Tyrrell, a Late Model Stock Car standout, is 18 starts deep into his rookie campaign in the NASCAR Truck Series, which he has navigated with a single top-10 result – an eighth-place finish at Watkins Glen International. In those starts, Tyrrell has a pair of top-15s, 7 top-20s, and sits 20th-place in the series points standings heading into The Chase.
