Toyota Racing USA development driver Gavan Boschele will make his NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series debut this weekend at Indianapolis Raceway Park, driving for TRICON Garage.

Boschele will get behind the wheel of the No. 1 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro in Friday’s TSPORT 200 Presented by Warn Industries, the first of multiple NASCAR Truck Series events in which the 18-year-old will compete for the championship-winning organization.

The 18-year-old currently competes on a part-time basis in the ARCA Menards Series for Nitro Motorsports, driving the No. 25 Toyota Camry. In a handful of starts for the organization this year, Boschele has managed to pick up four top-fives (Kansas, Watkins Glen, Michigan, and Pocono), including a career-best runner-up result earlier this Summer at The Tricky Triangle.

According to Boschele’s website, Indianapolis Raceway Park is the first of six NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series events on the docket for the Mooresville, North Carolina-native this season, a schedule that also includes Richmond (August 14), New Hampshire (August 22), Kansas (October 9), Phoenix (October 16), and Martinsville (October 30).

TRICON Garage is the flagship team for Toyota Racing USA in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series, and currently fields five full-time entries; three for full-time drivers Kaden Honeycutt, Tanner Gray, and Gio Ruggiero, and two multi-driver entries that have been filled with a wide variety of talent this season.

Taylor Gray, Corey Heim, Dario Franchitti, William Sawalich, Brandon Jones, Brent Crews, Jimmie Johnson, Thomas Annunziata, and Nick Leitz have all gotten behind the wheel of the No. 1 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro this season. The No. 5 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro has had a rotating cast of characters, as well, including Nick Leitz, Adam Andretti, Corey Heim, Chase Briscoe, William Sawalich, Spencer Davis, and Graham Doyle.

Both the No. 1 and No. 5 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro entries have been to Victory Lane this season, courtesy of Corey Heim, who piloted the No. 5 to Victory Lane at Darlington, and the No. 1 at Rockingham and Michigan.

The TSPORT 200 Presented by Warn Industries at Indianapolis Raceway Park will take place on Friday, July 24 at 8:00 PM ET on FOX Sports 1.
