In his fifth career ARCA Menards Series start in Friday’s Lime Rock Park ARCA 100 at Lime Rock Park, Carson Brown, driving the No. 28 Whelen Chevrolet SS for Pinnacle Racing Group, will lead the field to the green flag.

The 17-year old from New London, North Carolina posted the fastest lap time of 54.345 seconds (97.908mph). It is Brown’s second career pole in ARCA Menards Series competition, his first on a road course and his first since Phoenix Raceway earlier this year, where he ended up going to victory lane.

Last year’s winner Thomas Annunziata, who was also fastest in practice, posted the second quickest time of 54.409 seconds (97.793mph), with Brown’s teammate, Tristan McKee, finishing out the top-3 spots.

ARCA Menards Series points leader Jake Bollman will start in the fourth spot, with his teammate Isabella Robusto rounding out the top-5 positions.

Peter Portante, a local driver making his ARCA Menards Series debut, settled in the sixth position. Max Reaves, Andrew Ranger, Stewart Friesen, and Ryan Gemmell completed the top-10 in qualifying.

Ed Pompa (No. 10) and Jeff Maconi (No. 86) were the only drivers who did not post a lap in the 20 minute qualifying session.

The Lime Rock Park ARCA 100 at Lime Rock Park will take place on Friday, July 10, at 4 PM ET on FOX Sports 2.
