For the 13th time in his NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series career, Ty Majeski will lead the field to the green flag, winning the pole for Saturday’s DQS Solutions & Staffing 250 at Michigan International Speedway.
Piloting the No. 88 Menards Ford F-150 for ThorSport Racing, Majeski laid down a quick time of 39.257 seconds (183.407mph) to take the top spot in time trials, beating NASCAR Cup Series regular Christopher Bell by seven hundredths of a second.
It’s the second NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series pole of the year for the native of Seymour, Wisconsin, and the second straight pole for ThorSport Racing at the two-mile speedway in Brooklyn, Michigan. In 2025, Luke Fenhaus sat on the pole for this race, driving the ThorSport No. 66.
Making his fourth NASCAR Truck Series start of the year, Christopher Bell, driving the No. 62 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro for Halmar Friesen Racing, will start from the outside of the front row.
At the start of Saturday’s 250-mile contest, both the second and third rows will be occupied by teammates. Chandler Smith and Layne Riggs (Front Row Motorsports) will start third and fourth, with Connor Mosack and Carson Hocevar (Spire Motorsports) in fifth and sixth.
NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series rookie Cole Butcher will roll from seventh-place, with Gio Ruggiero in eighth, Jake Garcia in ninth, and Spencer Davis, contesting his first NASCAR Truck Series event since 2023, rounding out the top-10 in the No. 5 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro for TRICON Garage.
Other notable drivers starting outside the top-10 in Saturday’s event include: Stewart Friesen (12th), Tyler Ankrum (13th), Ross Chastain (15th), Kaden Honeycutt (17th), Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. (19th), Christian Eckes (20th), Corey Heim (23rd), Daniel Hemric (24th), and Ben Rhodes (35th).
Rhodes, driving the No. 99 Ford F-150 for ThorSport, will start shotgun on the field Saturday after running out of gas on his qualifying lap. He’ll share the last row with Tanner Gray, who had a flat tire during practice and had to be towed back to the garage — thus not allowing the No. 15 to qualify.
Cleetus McFarland, making his second NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series start in the No. 4 Chevrolet Silverado RST for Niece Motorsports, will start from 29th position. McFarland had a major save in practice, but avoided too much damage to his Circle B Auctions machine.
