Defending Coca-Cola 600 winner Ross Chastain and his rookie teammate from Trackhouse Racing, Connor Zilisch, have planned themselves an extremely busy Memorial Day Weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Over the course of the three-day weekend, the two NASCAR Cup Series regulars plan to complete a total of 734 laps (1,101 miles) around the mile-and-a-half racetrack in Concord, North Carolina, NASCAR’s backyard.

The journey begins on Friday with the North Carolina Education Lottery 200 (NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series). Chastain will return to the driver’s seat of the No. 45 Chevrolet Silverado RST for Niece Motorsports, with Zilisch making his second Truck Series start of 2026 for Spire Motorsports, this time driving the No. 77 Chevrolet Silverado RST.

Saturday’s Charbroil 300 (NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series) will see Chastain and Zilisch return to being teammates, albeit for a different organization. Zilisch will continue his part-time stint in the No. 1 Chevrolet Camaro for JR Motorsports, with Chastain jumping in the team’s fifth, part-time, No. 9 Chevrolet Camaro.

On Sunday, of course, is the big fish: the Coca-Cola 600, where Chastain and Zilisch will return to their traditional seats at Trackhouse Racing. Like last season, when he won the crown jewel event, Chastain will have Jockey and Folds of Honor on his No. 1 Chevrolet Camaro. Zilisch will have Red Bull on his No. 88 Chevrolet Camaro.

Chastain, a native of Alva, Florida, is looking to snap a NASCAR National Series winless streak that is about to reach a full year, with his last win coming in the Coca-Cola 600. The multi-time NASCAR Cup Series winner hasn’t been to Victory Lane in the O’Reilly Series since 2019, and hasn’t won in the Truck Series since 2024.

Zilisch, on the other hand, is chomping at the bit to get his first victory in both the NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. Already this season, the Mooresville, North Carolina-native has been adding to an impressive record in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, with victories in the No. 1 Chevrolet for JRM at Bristol and Watkins Glen.

Katherine Legge (Coca-Cola 600 and Indianapolis 500) will run 1,100 miles this weekend if all goes to plan, with Cole Custer, Kyle Busch, Ricky Stenhouse, Jr., Shane Van Gisbergen, Timmy Hill, William Sawalich, Brandon Jones, and Leland Honeyman, Jr. all running multiple events this weekend.
